Would an english bulldog and english mastiff be a good match up to be raised together?
I was thinking of getting an English Bulldog and English Mastiff, but didn't know if they would be a good match up together. And I have heard it would be better to get the Mastiff first because they can become jealous dogs. Is that true also?
Any 2 dogs can be a good match if both are properly socialized and trained. It wouldn’t matter which you got first, for you to have 2 dogs together, you would need both to be well trained and socialized for it to even begin to work.
(It also makes no sense to get the jealous dog first, that would just be creating more problems by then later introducing a new dog for it to become jealous of…)
They’re both English, don’t they tend to get along most of the time? (lol) Just kidding. They would probably be alright if they’re going to be raised together. Mastiffs are sometimes a bit jealous, and bulldogs do tend to have tempers so they might need to be watched for a while, but then they should get along. Good luck!

get them at the same time they will then both be leaving there litter mates at the same time so will turn to each other
They both are on the lower energy side of the barometer. I would definately say this would be a good match in "breed" but as we all know, when you buy the "breed" you must also buy the "dog" which simply means just because the breed isn’t hyper active doesn’t mean the "dog" will/won’t be. Good luck
probably not because there both in the bull dog family and normaly you can never have any type of bull dogs together.

YOU ARE LOOKING AT 2K FOR THE BULLDOG AND 1K FOR THE MASTIFF WHY DONT YOU JUST GET ONE 2 DOGS TWICE THE PROBLEMS OR YOU CAN GET A BULLMASTIFF LIKE ME WHICH IS A COMBO OF THE TWO AND THEIR GREAT DOG VERY LAID BACK WITH LESS HEALTH PROBLEMS THEN BOTH OF THE OTHER BREEDS
well darlin……….we have a chow and an english mastiff……..and they do real well together….the only thing is…..our chow is female and our mastiff is male………..if you are getting them as young puppies together you should be fine……..but if one is older or both older you may want to check and make sure they will get along………….
