What should we name our female great dane who is black?
The rescue we got her from had named her Thelma, but we would like to change it. Our male great dane is named Rex- what goes with Rex but doesn't sound too close to it?

I think the name "Reva" would go good with Rex! Just my opinion LOL! Or how about Reba?

I had a large doberman- a pedigree but was too big for showing, so his previous owners told me. They called him Tyson after Mike. ‘Cause he was big and black!
Ok, the gender doesn’t fit, but what the hell??!! It’s short and she will quickly learn to respond to it.
I also had a mate who called his German Shepard ‘Dog’ because he couldn’t think of a name. Again, short and the dog quickly learned to recognise it.
its not always a good idea to just slap a name on a dog, think of some things by the way she acts or things she does(kinda the same thing) watch her personality…and if you need any help with animals just email me i have a million and i study em spoiledsweet4404@yahoo.com
Name her after me "Wego"!. Then you can call her by saying "Here We Go! Here We Go!"
