How to stop my dog from digging in the flower pots…?

My dog is a hunting dog and very active, so she is always up to something... When we leave her home alone she always digs up the flower pot I have in the living room. I sometimes find pieces of bread she buries to save for later and am tired of cleaning up the mess. I need a method to stop her from doing this. I am looking for a home-remedy to pour or sprinkle into the soil that will not harm my dog, or plant for that matter. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance...

By no means do i want him to be mean we go to traning so he is well behaved but just in case...i think it may be a good thing?? maybe not...please help?!

How can I keep my German Shepherd from jumping up on the sofa & wrecking my window shades?

I have an 18 month old German Shepherd & her name is Angel. Whenever she sees a stanger coming up to the house
she climbs up onto the sofa where the window shades are & starts to bark & goes ballistic.(I have a small living room) How do I get her out of the habit of not wrecking them? I do pull them
up as far up as possible. She's a little spit fire when protecting
her home & family.
