Large Dog Crate for My Dog
Dog crates and kennels provide mutual benefits for the owner and their dogs. How large it should be? This is one of the decisions that pet owners consider before buying a dog crate. Large dog crates let your dogs to fit in and do whatever they want without holding its right for freedom. It allows them to sleep well and stretch wide. They also have enough space to move.
Dogs love to scamper around and play whenever they want and putting them in the crate makes them disciplined. This is a great training, especially for growing puppies, to control them from messing up with your garden or things inside the home. Small puppies find it difficult to stay in the crate; this is something that makes them cry because it hinders them to go around circles and run all day.
However, it is said that putting dogs inside the crane will make them braver and when comes out can easily threaten people around the area. This is not yet proven, but most trainers believe that dogs start listening and following your commands by putting them into crane.
The most popular types of large dog crates are wire and outdoor crates. Each has different uses and features that suit the need of your dog for shelter. For some reasons, I prefer wire and outdoor crates, aside from the size, because they offers good ventilation for my dogs. Wire dog crates are strong and easy to clean. It is great for home use and training purposes. Trendy wire and metal crates can be fold and style as furniture. It can also be covered. Outdoor door crates are larger that allows the dog to be free in roaming, stretching, moving and playing at a larger perimeter.
You can bring the crates everywhere because it can be fold and set according to your preference, but airlines don’t allow passengers to travel with crates. It’s always sad to be away from your dogs for long time especially when they are close to you. But, with assembled large dog crates, your dog can also enjoy the new place where it is.
The cost of large dog crate varies from $50 - $125 depending on the materials used and quality for medium and large dogs. Not everyone can afford to replace their dog crates to control them everytime their dogs gets older and sizes increase. It is better to train them while the are small and they will eventually get used to their new home.
Providing comfort and safety for your dogs are your responsibility. You must clean the crates properly by sweeping all the food remains to avoid sting odors and pests. Change their bed covers once or twice a month, this is part of their hygiene that makes them fresh and clean. Wire and outdoor crates do not require high maintenance. It can last for long years but, you should take care of it because it is also part of your house. Large dog crate gives proper training to your dogs, area that they may call as their own and added decoration to your house premises.
