How much discrimination does the average schutzhund german shepherd have with people coming and going?
For example if I went to the hospital for x amount of weeks and came back to my house and german shepherd, could I be in danger? ( I think so If the shepherd was left in my house and perhaps not if he was left at a kennal ) Also how long would it be before a guest in my house could come and go to the house as they please?

The Sch title has nothing to do with it. Sch is a game and most Sch dogs are pretty stable in the head. Notice, I said most, not all.
Sch is a game, not the real world training that a dog gets when trained for real protection.
So, the short answer to your question is, it has everything to do with the dog and his temperament then any titles he has obtained as a sports dog. Hope I helped!!
if he was left at a kennel he would be fine, i wouldn’t leave him alone at your house for more then a day tho. its animal cruelty and he would probnaly start wrecking up your house
that is a strange question and there is no correct answer…each dog is different and will react differently
Not from a Schutzhund trained dog.. Schutzhund is a SPORT, not training to be a protection dog.. A schutzhund dog is playing a game, just like any other dog sport.. It is absolutely not training for protection or guard work or anything else.. It’s a SPORT!.
um NO. Schutzhund dogs are very well trained and well mannered, or they are failures at schuzhund. Are you thinking a guard dog? Our dogs know us, you know.
really depends on the dog and how much of a bond you have now one dog i had i left with my ex for 5yrs and he didnt change any he still knew who i was and sheperds are a great breed
