How do you stop your dog from digging the garden?
Hi guys
our dogs are digging in a one particular spot in our yard. and as its a rental we really need this to stop. We have heard that putting chilli on the ground in the spot they keep digging works. does anyone else know of a good solution to this?

Most destructive behavior is born out of boredom. Abundant attention from you–plus ample mental and physical stimulation–will keep her content, fulfilled, and less inclined to dig or chew.
check these articles I read about this destructive behavior.

put some red peppers on the hole after u fill it in. that worked for me!!!
I wish I knew.
My dogs are wrecking the yard.
Your dogs are bored. Take them for long walks, train them, play games with them. A tired dog is a good dog.
Do these dog spend all their time outside? Dogs who live outside do seem to dig to entertain themselves.
a good way to stop digging in one spot is to pour some listerine (or store brand equivalent) over the hole. the smell is repulsive to the dogs & it will mask any scent they are attracted to.
