How do i potty train my 52days old doberman pup to use the toilet??Lease train etc.?
I live in an apartment so it's not easy for me to take him out each time it wants 2 releave it self. More over, what are the signs to know that the pup is about to urinate etc. AND how do i lease train him?? he's really resisting!!

Good luck teach the dog to use the toilet.. I think you will end up cleaning more poop up off the seat than anything.. IF you can get him climbing up there to go.
If you are in an apartment, you should maybe have thought about this ‘ bathroom thing ‘ before getting a dog. Didn’t the breeder say ‘ If you live in an apartment, are you prepared to go out every 20 – 40 minutes to housetrain the puppy ‘ ???
He is very young yet, the signs that he is wanting to go might not even show up much yet. But he is likely to be smelling around for a good spot, nose to the ground, circling and in the case of a Doberman.. Backing up when he is ready to poop
Leash training, just put it on him for him and let him drag it around a bit and get him used to having a leash attached. Ever so often pick it up and gently guide or lead him where you want him to go. He is a little baby yet, he isn’t going to walk far for you anyhow. Might hold him back while in the yard, but he isn’t going to go on any tours or anything.
What kind of dog is it? I had the same problem with my puppy. There are puppy pads and they make puppy’s wanna pee there . It took be about 1 month to make my puppy understand she uses the restroom outside. You dog might stand by the door. Might cry…When it wakes up… Every morning I take my puppy outside in the front and she does what she has to do…
can’t train a dog to use the toilet.leash training is easy for a pup that young.tie his leash to a door knob and he will train himself.once he accepts the leash on the door knob he will start walking with you.just don’t punish him if he don’t walk with you or he will think walking on a leash is bad.just give him much praise when he walks with you.
it will be easier to litter train than toilet train. and if you mean leash, just put it on and let you dog walk around with it on and when hes not looking, pick it up and walk around a bit where he wants to go then try to lead him where he wants to go. all dogs resist at first, be patient.
training a pup is hard work but this is how i trained mines. everytime it urinates sumwhere and you obviously clean it with tissue. well after you had cleaned it up you wipe some on the potty you want him to go in. then they would have a smell saying that they have to go there. so everytime you play with him, and every 15 mins or so you would take him to the potty so they would remember that they have to go there.
Why do you own a Doberman in an apartment complex? Most places I know, don’t allow them for 2 reasons:
– On the ”banned breed” list for apartments.
– Over the weight limit.
Anyways, you cannot train a dog to use the toilet. You can litter train them, but for a big breed dog, such as your doberman, that will not be sufficient as the pup gets bigger.
Best thing to do, is make it easier to take him out. Part of the responsibility of dog ownership, is the requirement to take him out when he needs to go.
Funny sort of landlord that will allow you to have a dog in an apartment. Apartments are not suitable for dogs. But since you have one, let’s get it straight: it’s not "potty", "restroom", "bathroom", "toilet" – those are for humans! Dogs can’t sit on potties or toilets. Okay. Sniffing and circling are signs that he wants to urinate/defecate. He will want to go after eating/drinking, playing and sleeping. Consider (1) moving to a house with a yard (2) crate training. Link below. Good luck. PS. Walks twice a day are a necessity.
