How Can My Maltese Dog And 3 Month Old Kitties Get Along?
I have two maltese dogs and one of them is obsessed with our new kitties. It almost seems like he is attracted to the girl kitty. If you know any way that he can not be so "curious" or how they could get along better. Please only answer if you actually KNOW something!
okay you wanted the dog to get along with the kitten just cover the dog eye and get the kitten and rub i in the dog fur so that he can get that it a smell of the dog so just do that umm 3 day and they get along that what i do to my cat and my pit bull so yea

It’s just natural…. the dogs are curious because it is another living organism in the house the dogs are just used to being alone in…. he is just curious…. my dog was really curious when my cat arrived at my house so it will eventually stop…. just give it time!
Well when we trained my dog to like my kitten. We would hold the kitten and let the dog come up and sniff her. Then after a few days of doing that for a few minutes we let the kitten walk around and the seemed to get along fine. The cat would follow my dog and after awile my dog paid to attention to her. (untill she ran! and thats a whole nother problem in it’s self!)
Just give them TIME and EQUAL ATTENTION
Because I have a dog and I once had 2 cats and it was so mad at the cat cause my mom and aunt pay attention to the cats better than him.

Well I have a maltese to and 2 kitties my maltese loves the kitty and will just wagg his tail forever. To make them stop fighting get dog treats and cat treats and every time they see each other give both of them a treat to show them it’s a good thing. Good luck!
