How can I stop my dog from ‘digging’?
I have an indoor dog. Female boxer german shepard mix - about 6 months old. After having her fixed, all she does is dig at things. She isn't hiding anything when she does it. I can't figure out why she's doing this or how to stop it. It's too cold to put her outside, but she tore my bed completely apart today. Why does she do this and how can I stop her?
i have to forever tell mine to quit. as soon as i start to leave right back to it. now i tell her to quit or go to crate. she gets a time out in her crate. usually takes a while before she goes back to digging and when i say crate, she stops.
well that is life with a dog. a german shepard boxer should not be an inside dog.
she is bored and wants to be out and to help her give her more of your time and play with her she needs to realise built up energy have to distract dog from this behaviour and give her something else to do,
